Who Am I? Discovering Who You Are in Christ
How would you answer that question?
We often define our identity in terms of our roles in life, such as your family relationships or career choice. It is also tempting to define ourselves by the world’s standards of beauty, money, power, and popularity. Identity is a major issue. It informs how we view ourselves and the world around us. Too often, unfortunately, we find our identity in things that are doomed to fail us. We will find true joy, peace, and fulfillment when we find our identity in Christ.
Join us at First Church during Lent as we study what the Bible says about us and discover who you are in Christ.
Series runs March 10 – April 7. We are located at 200 W. Bremen St. in New Knoxville, OH
First Church of New Knoxville invites your family to join us for Wonderful Wednesdays!
Each Wednesday evening from March 13 to April 10
What are Wonderful Wednesdays ?
Life is busy – homework, sports practices, dinner, etc…. it all vies for our time. Wonderful Wednesday is a way for the whole family to spend time together one day a week during Lent and not have to worry about any of those things.
Our volunteers walk with the children directly from NK School to First Church of New Knoxville where they get a snack and a chance to burn off some energy with games and fun. Then it’s over to the church to get homework done with the guidance of our homework helpers, crafts and some music.
At 5:45 pm parents and the entire community are invited to join us for dinner and a short devotional. This is a community outreach program – everyone is invited whether you have a child attending or you would just like to join us for dinner.
By 7:00 pm you have the rest of the evening to spend together as a family. Homework and dinner are done!
Your child does NOT have to attend NK school to participate! You may drop them off after school for the program also. Click the link below to download the registration form for your student and return it to First Church of New Knoxville, PO Box 339, New Knoxville or scan and email it to email@example.com
Wonderful Wednesday Registration 2019
Registration forms are for the after school portion only. If you’re joining us for dinner you just need to show up hungry!

Join Sundays, February 3 – April 14 for a NEW bible study Jesus Among Secular Gods written by Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale.
We will be studying the secular prevailing worldviews such as atheism, scientism, pluralism and many more that are drastically different than what Jesus preached.
This study will seek to help us as Christ-followers to engage and have meaningful conversations with people that believe in these secular worldviews.
This study will be an 11-week bible study led by Jake Breitigan on Sundays at 10:15 am in the Ministry Center. All are welcome!

Here is the Vision & Mission of the 40 Day Prayer Covenant!
To see the Prayer Covenant be a catalyst for an awakening to the supremacy of Jesus Christ as Lord throughout his church and his world.
To inspire and encourage Christ centered covenant prayer partnerships among adults and children that empower discipleship, transformation and evangelism.
- Consider praying this prayer for 10 days before sharing it with others.
- Ask Jesus to forgive your sins, and help you stop your sin patterns.
- Invite the Holy Spirit to guide and empower you to pray.
- Select a quiet place and time to pray unhurriedly.
- Find at least one prayer partner and hold each other accountable.
- Ask God to show you others whom you might invite into this Prayer Covenant.
- Ask your Heavenly Father for lifelong growth in prayer, wisdom, maturity, and love.
